Package Says Delivered But Not Here – Was your Package Stolen?

You’ve seen it before – a package said it was delivered (maybe on Amazon) but you can’t find it. You’ve checked your porch, your mailbox and everywhere in between. Was your package stolen?

There’s a good chance it was stolen. The best way to find out if your package was stolen is to have a security camera like Ring or Nest Outdoor installed. Here’s a funny video of someone stealing a pumpkin (thankfully not a package) from my porch, taken from my Ring Camera:

However, most people do not have one of these installed. Of course, a Ring or Nest Outdoor won’t stop your package from being stolen from the porch (Bench Box will!).

The best thing to do is to wait about 24 hours before you contact Amazon, USPS, FedEx or UPS. Sometimes the package is simply delivered to the wrong address and your neighbor will drop off your package in short order.

If there was no package at your doorstep, it’s time to contact either the shipper or the shipping company:
